Gum Drop Cookies

My family has been great helping me adapt to the gluten-free diet. Our entire house is gluten-free and no one (usually) complains. However, last Christmas my son and daughter were lamenting the loss of their beloved gumdrop cookies. As a family project, we would spend an afternoon making these cookies. My husband was in charge of chopping the gumdrops (which are hard to chop!), the kids would help me measure and drop the dough onto the cookie pan. Like all moms, I was in charge of watching the cookies so they didn't burn. The West family would be so happy if you could make this recipe gluten-free. Thank you. Christine West Oregon Dear Christine, Keeping cookies from burning is a very important job! Especially when the cookies are as wonderful as these! I am so glad your family supports your gluten-free diet. The diet is so much easier to follow when you have support from those closest to you! Elizabeth . . .
