Name: Bacon and Egg Pie
Description: Standing at the stove making bacon and eggs for everyone attending your brunch isn’t fun for you or your guests. This quick bacon and egg “pie” is quick to put together, leaving you more time to enjoy your guests.
1/2 pound bacon

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

6 large eggs

1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Generously butter a 10-inch pie plate.

  2. Cook bacon, in a large skillet, until crisp. Remove bacon from pan and place on paper towels to drain.

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream. Add Parmesan cheese and cooked bacon. Stir to combine.

  4. Pour egg mixture into prepare pie plate.

  5. Bake for 45-60 minutes or until eggs are set and pie is deep golden brown.

  6. Remove from the oven. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Cook's Note

To make your life easier, you can cook the bacon the night before and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
