Oh! I'm excited about today's giveaway. Really excited. For years (about eleven years now!), I've baked gluten-free bread in a Zojirushi bread machine. It's the machine I recommended in my cookbook, Easy Gluten-Free Baking. And today I get to give a Zojirushi Home Bakery Virtuoso Breadmaker away! Eeeeeee!

The Zojirushi pictured above is the breadmaker I've had for years (and years!). If you've ever taken a bread class with me, you've probably seen it because I tote my "Zo" with me to all my bread classes. I love that Zojirushi makes bread in a horizontal pan with TWO paddles. Our dough is pretty thick! And this is the only bread maker that I've tried that handles it with no problem
The good folks at Zojirushi took everything I loved about my machine and made it even better! (I didn't know that was possible!)
The Zojirushi Home Bakery Virtuoso Breadmaker includes:
- A gluten-free cycle (you can still program the bread maker if you don't want to use the preprogrammed cycle.)
- A larger window! Now you can see what's going on inside the machine as it mixes, rises, and bakes.
- A handle on the pan. This makes it SO easy to remove the pan from the machine when your loaf finishes baking. When I pulled the new pan out of the machine and saw the new handle I thought, "Ohhh....that's so smart!" And it is!

Above, you can see the inside of the machine without the pan locked into place.
Here's the pan! And it's horizontal! Which means this machine bakes a loaf of bread that, well, looks like a loaf of bread!
Now I've locked the pan into place.

But it's more than a pretty face! This machine packs some punch. How much? Enough to produce a perfect loaf of gluten-free bread every time! Seriously.
Since receiving the Home Bakery Virtuoso Breadmaker, I baked several loaves of bread. I used the recipes from my books Easy Gluten-Free Baking and How to Cook Gluten-Free. (The loaf in How to Cook Gluten-Free is not only gluten-free, it's also dairy-free and corn-free!) Each loaf baked perfectly, whether I used my own custom setting or the preprogrammed gluten-free setting.
All I had to do was add my ingredients to the machine, press start, and a few hours later I had bread! That's it!
